WAKEFIELD, Mass. – June 24, 2013 – Virtual, Inc. (, a technology-focused association management company, has strengthened its Client Services area with the addition of five new employees, who supplement the firm’s staff of seasoned professionals. This workforce increase is occasioned by the firm’s recent new client signings, and by the expanded activities of existing clients.

Lisa Scudder is joining as a Senior Program Manager, from Fidelity Investments, with previous experience in corporate communications and human resources. Her responsibilities include project and program management, business impact analysis, operational risk assessments, and process mapping and improvement, all on behalf of the PCI Security Standards Council.

Virtual has also hired four new Program Coordinators, whose responsibilities consist of delivering front-line services to Virtual’s roster of 36 clients, focusing on member support and programs, and supporting the Client Services team:

Melissa Bassignani works primarily with the Smart Grid Interoperability Panel (SGIP), and she will also assist with the Broadband Internet Technical Advisory Group (BITAG), the Connected Media Experience (CME) and SAFECode as needed. She recently graduated from Suffolk University, with a degree in management.

Jack Carroll supports the Association of Critical Care Transport (ACCT), the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA) and the Digital Analytics Association (DAA). He is a recent graduate of Stonehill College, where he majored in English.

Tanya Deveau previously served as a senior program coordinator for Boston University’s Science and Engineering Program, where she acquired skills in office and grant administration, event planning, marketing and fundraising. Additionally, she participated in campus efforts that resulted in a 40% decrease in waste – valuable experience for working with her principal client, the American Institute for Packaging and the Environment (AMERIPEN). She also supports Advocates for Emergency Medical Services (AEMS), the Boston Estate Planning Council and GreenTouch as needed.

Brooke Weldon primarily supports ITechLaw and also assists with the activities of SEMPO and the Independent Association of PODS Franchisees. She is a 2013 graduate of Suffolk University, with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Finance.
