Favorite client story:

I’ve led several groups in their launch efforts. It is gratifying to think back on those initial meetings of a handful of companies with a new collaboration idea and track it through the structural development, influencing the strategy and guiding steps to the completion of their first technical specification or marketing announcement. The momentum build and industry impact is very impressive.

I really enjoy developing trusted relationships with the forum leadership I have worked with, and helping them build a successful team. It is really meaningful that I still receive holiday cards from several Board members that I have not worked with for more than a decade.

Favorite Movie, Book, Food, Music:

Kale, everything kale…

Hidden talent:

I used to have a potter’s wheel and I’ve made some nice ceramic pieces. Also I can 10-minute power-nap anywhere.

What I do for fun:

Every year I see all of the best picture nominations before the Academy Awards. I also love to hike, garden, cook and hang out with my family and friends.

I can’t live without:

The beach

Important life lesson:

The journey’s the thing

Key to success:

Teamwork – recognizing that everyone brings value to the table. This builds respect and often paves the way for innovative collaboration.

Community Involvement:

Started One Brick Seattle to connect thousands of people with community service projects, resulting in more than 5000 volunteer hours per year.

Work directly with homeless teenagers as an advocate and help facilitate weekly meal service.
