Being a part of transforming the PCI Security Standards Council from an idea into an organization that influences payment card transactions all over the globe.

What I do for fun:
I’m buying thicker and thicker wetsuits to attempt to extend the east coast surfing season to twelve months. I don’t understand why no one wants to come with me when the water is 33 degrees, air is 15 degrees and the wind is howling.

You spend more time with the people at work than you think. Have some fun!
Key to success:
Never accept the “way we’ve always done it” or “this is too hard.” There’s a way.

Favorite movie, book, food, music/band/song:
- Woody Allen’s “Love and Death”
- “What it Takes” about the 1988 presidential campaign—some extraordinary characters in that race. And it shows that politics can be an honorable profession.
- Any kind of “road food” that’s bad for you
- I’m “this close” to just following Bruce Springsteen around the world. I saw him 18 times in 2016 alone.
- Thunder Road is the best song ever written. Bruce is about the only music I listen to.
