WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Sept. 9, 2021 – Virtual, Inc. today announced the promotion of Justin Montville to Vice President of Applications and Infrastructure. Reporting to COO Terry Lowney, Montville oversees Virtual’s global infrastructure and applications team, which develops, delivers, and supports secure, scalable, and integrated core technology tools and systems for Virtual and its clients.

His leadership and innovation have proven valuable to Virtual throughout his seven years here,” said Lowney. “I am looking forward to seeing Justin’s expertise play a vital role in our organization, enabling our clients and teams to thrive and achieve their goals.”
Montville joined Virtual in 2014 as a Lead System/Network Engineer and has steadily expanded his strategic role and tactical scope as the leader of several important technology initiatives and projects that he has driven over the last seven years resulting in many major accomplishments and significant results for the company and Virtual’s clients. Montville was instrumental in ensuring the entire company transition to a fully remote infrastructure at the start of the coronavirus pandemic last year.
“Throughout my career at Virtual, I have felt rewarded seeing the integrated core technology tools I supervise make a difference,” said Montville. “The infrastructure and application team’s responsibility is to support and offer strategic guidance to our internal teams and our clients. I am gratified to expand my role, continuing to provide appropriate cyber security measures and to manage ever-changing technology needs, enabling Virtual’s success.”
Montville has over 15 years of experience and is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts-Lowell with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems and Finance. He has also worked as a systems engineer at OneShield Software, and as systems administrator at USI New England.
