Virtual, Inc. Augments Professional Events, Marketing Teams

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Dec. 8, 2015 – Virtual, Inc. (http://virtualinc.com), the leading technology-focused association management company, has added three people to Virtual’s full-service cross-client professional teams focused on planning and executing client events and marketing initiatives.

Virtual manages hundreds of client events each year that range in size from Board meetings to multi-day conferences with up to 1,200 attendees; Virtual-run events have taken place in more than 40 countries.

• Laura MacKenzie is an Events Coordinator. She came to Virtual after working in customer services positions at MINI of Bedford, NH and Callogix. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in international business from Southern New Hampshire University and an Associate’s degree in business administration from Manchester Community College.

• Danielle O’Dea has come on board as a Marketing Manager. Most recently, she served as Marketing Manager at Texthelp, Inc. and prior to that, at Speedpro Imaging. She also worked at the Suffolk University Office of Advancement and BJ’s Wholesale Clubs. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from Salem State University, and a Certification in Digital Media and Web Design from American Career Institute.

• Allie Poikonen serves as an Events Specialist. Prior to Virtual, she garnered experience in the hospitality industry, with positions at Stowe Acres Country Club and the Devens Hilton Garden Inn. She also worked at Burke Technology. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in hospitality business, cum laude, and studied in Florence, Italy as part of her program.
