The Shields Center for Innovation develops action-oriented problem-solvers who understand self, others, and context. We provide the conditions for students to recognize unmet needs rooted in an individual care and concern for each person. Students build their innovation mindset and entrepreneurial muscle as they address real-world problems. As students identify opportunities, experiment, reflect, and iterate with those they are serving, they recognize their own agency to make an impact.

The mission of the Mojaloop Foundation is to increase financial inclusion by empowering organizations creating interoperable payments systems to enable digital financial services for all.

In this season of gratitude, the Virtual team extends a heartfelt thank you to our amazing clients. We are privileged to be their partners in progress, supporting them as they make their mark on the world. Many of the people that we work with in these organizations are volunteers who work tirelessly to advocate for their organizations. We acknowledge you and share your dedication and passion in ways that deliver impact to humanity.

I always look forward to reading the Sunday newspapers. It’s the one day of the week that I put down my iPad and dive into the splendor of the print editions of the New York Times and Boston Globe.

One of our values at Virtual is “generosity.” We want to be generous not just with our employees, but with our support of the community. We do that through supporting our team members in their charitable pursuits (we’ve sponsored a lot of walkathons!), through grabbing trash bags and cleaning up the area around our offices and through the financial support of charitable causes.
