Virtual Cares… About the Earth

Virtual News : Article

This Earth Day, we want to make sure to do our part. As our organization gets bigger, so does our ability to make a difference in our community. That’s why, in 2022, we’ve launched a new program: Virtual Cares.

This program’s goal is to reach 2,022 paid volunteer service hours completed by our employees this year. Here at Virtual, we don’t only care about the earth on April 22nd. One of our core values is generosity, and our employees’ dedication to volunteering and helping others shows that value in action.

Year-round, our employees volunteer to help the environment, from planting trees to picking up trash off the side of the road. They also help our community in other ways, such as helping to build a house, serving food at a homeless shelter, and participating in a walk. We believe no effort is too small.

We’re proud to be able to offer paid volunteer hours to help our employees volunteer during the workday. On Earth Day – April, 22, 2022, we’re also holding events in our Nashville, Reston, and Wakefield offices, as well as our remote employees, are going to come together as a team to clean up nearby trails and roads. We are able to support each other in our volunteering and make even bigger contributions, together.

Virtual Cares is one more step towards Virtual making its mark on the world.
