Virtual Wins Gold Trendy Award for PCI Security Standards Council Annual Conference Opening Video

Client News : Article

At Virtual, we often say that the greatest reward for us is when we see our clients succeed. And while that’s true, sometimes it’s pretty darn fun to have our work nationally recognized. Last week was one of those times, when Association Trends selected our opening video for the Payment Card Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) meeting as its top video production for the year.

We’ve been working with PCI SSC since before their launch in 2006. Over the years, we’ve helped them grow their annual Community Meetings into a “must attend” event in payment card security. We like to start off the event by using a video to remind attendees of the Council’s mission. This year, working with our longtime partner, Green Iguana Productions, LLC, we utilized the metaphor of an orchestra to show how collectively, individual musical instruments form a symphony. Much like how, securing payment card data is not a solo act, it takes a community – the script highlighted pieces of the organization’s mission statement – set against the backdrop of an original musical piece to match the emotion of the message.

“If a picture is worth a thousand words, a great video is worth ten times that. And thanks to our partners at Green Iguana, we did that and more. The video is all about an orchestra. We’re pleased to have the right team to be able to make our client events sing,” said Andy Freed, CEO of Virtual, Inc.
