Events Expert to Drive Success of Events of All Formats

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Mar. 31, 2022Virtual, Inc., a professional services firm that enables organizations to achieve their goals and make a mark on the world, announces the promotion of Leah Sibilia, CMP to Senior Director of Events. Sibilia is part of the Events and Conference Management team, led by Margot Rodger, Vice President, Events and Meetings. In her new role, Sibilia will continue to support clients’ in-person, virtual and hybrid events as they adapt to ever-changing global challenges.

“As we return to in-person events while navigating ongoing travel impacts on a global scale, we are committed to designing and managing successful gatherings to welcome participants in all formats,” said Margot Rodger, Vice President, Events and Meetings, Virtual, Inc. “Leah is entering her fourth year at Virtual and will continue to lead our team in delivering on our clients’ strategic goals by creating memorable and impactful experiences for attendees, both in-person and virtually.”

Since she started at Virtual in 2019, Sibilia has demonstrated her impactful leadership, guiding many clients through their COVID-19 and hybrid event decisions, leading negotiations and leveraging partnerships throughout the meeting and events industry. As a member of Virtual’s senior team she is a driving force for continually creating efficiencies and adding value to her client accounts.

“I was one of the first Virtual employees to attend an in-person client event amidst the pandemic back in December,” said Sibilia. “Being able to connect face-to-face with clients who we’ve been building relationships with after two years of virtual events and meetings was truly rewarding. I’m excited to continue my work on the events team, plan for future events, and support our team and clients to safely get back to in-person events as appropriate.”

Sibilia earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Boston College in 2004. From there, she worked as a Travel Director at Maritz Global Events and spent 12 years at the Entrepreneurs’ Organization as the Senior Event Director and Senior Director of Meetings. Sibilia joined the Virtual team in 2019 as the Director of Events before her promotion to Senior Director of Events.
