RAIN RFID Tag IC 2021 Sales Hit 30 Billion

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – November 16, 2022 – Almost 30 billion RAIN Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tag integrated circuits (IC) were sold worldwide in 2021.
This result translated into a 36% increase above 2020 sales, according to research released today by the RAIN Alliance. The RAIN RFID Market Research Report from VDC Research predicts IC shipments are expected to scale to 88.5 billion by 2028, a CAGR of 25.1%. Supply chain upgrades and the use of more sustainable solutions are helping to increase the adoption of RAIN RFID solutions.
