WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Jan. 27, 2016 – Virtual, Inc. (http://virtualinc.com), the leading technology-focused association management company, has hired two additional people in its training and certification area, to participate in developing and delivering programs on behalf of Virtual clients.
Virtual provides training and certification administration for several of its clients — with experience in both starting new certification programs and managing existing ones. Last year, thousands of people worldwide were certified in programs that Virtual administered, in fields ranging from cybersecurity to customer experience. The two employees will work on the PCI Security Standards Council’s global certification program and the Customer Experience Professionals Association’s fast-growing CCXP (certified customer experience professional) program.
- Karen Edwards was hired as a Training Coordinator. Most recently, she worked in quality assurance at Nuance Communications. Her background also includes positions in the Lexington Public School System, at Vicor Corporation and at Tektronix Corporation. She has a Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Westfield State University and a Master of Science degree in business from Lesley University.
- Melissa Ryan has been hired as a Training Specialist. She most recently worked at the Salisbury Beach Partnership, where she directed their marketing, events and Board-related initiatives. Previously, she held client services positions at Wolf & Company, P.C. and Putnam Investments. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Massachusetts – Lowell.
