WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Oct. 7, 2021 – Virtual, Inc. today announced the promotion of Michelle Schneider to the position of Director of Client Finance and Reporting. In her new role as the leader of the client financial reporting team, Schneider will report to CFO Mauro Lance.
“For over a decade Michelle has been an integral member of the finance team and her promotion is greatly deserved,” said Lance. “She has earned a reputation for creating trusted relationships with clients and colleagues, is often the go-to person for questions, and pushes new initiatives forward to create efficiencies.”
Schneider joined Virtual in 2011 and has advanced through several roles with increasing scope and responsibility in both the client accounting and client financial reporting departments.
“I am proud to have this opportunity to move into a leadership role on the client financial reporting team and continue the momentum we have built in equipping and enabling Virtual and our clients to execute their plans and reach their objectives,” said Schneider.
Schneider has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She has in-depth knowledge of accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, merchant processing, and, most recently, financial reporting, where she has become an expert at providing timely, clear, and concise financial data to Virtual’s clients.
